Many of our interpreters have spent years working with us. Here is what they have to say:

“I think sometimes it can be difficult not getting emotional. I love this work though.
When I go home, I know I made someone’s life better, and that’s probably one of
the biggest reasons I really like it here. There aren’t many jobs where what you
do is so good for other people, and I feel special knowing I give people who only
speak Spanish a way to have a better life.”

“I really enjoy working with both languages all day, and I think it is hard to beat
the experience and environment we have here. Not only do I get to talk in Japanese
all the time, which I love, but I get to help people in need.”

“I grew up speaking Vietnamese, but with the training I learned so much more than
I knew when I was younger. I always try to learn new words and stay on top of my
calls, I want to do a good job because if I mess up, it could really affect someone
else’s life. I like this job.
I think my favorite part are the hours, since we get a chance to choose from different
schedules.”

“I’m a professional now. I have skills. The training was intense, but now I can interpret
expertly. When I’m on the phone, I know what I am doing.”

“Every day, I supervise a team of interpreters, and we change lives daily. I’ve worked
in call centers before, but this is different. This is an interpreter center. People
want to stay here.
I like it here.”
Samy, Interpreter Supervisor

“I get my own desk here! I love it!”
