Position Requirements:

• Communicate accurately in two languages
• Facilitate many kinds of conversations - emergencies, medical procedures, legal situations
• Accurately repeat critical information from one person to another

Qualifications:

We are looking for experienced candidates that have a mixture of the following:

• Interpretation experience
• Professional certification and training
• A two to four year degree in interpretation
• Higher education both in the United States and in programs taught in the other working language
• Experience in relevant areas other than interpretation (e.g. healthcare)

1. Phone Interview - Assesses industry knowledge and experience
2. Online Interpretation Quiz - Tests Knowledge of CyraCom Protocols and Procedures
3. Written Assessment - Consists of an Interpreter Skills Assessment or Medical Vocabulary Examination
   Interpreter Skills Assessment - Assesses skill level in interpreting from English to target language and target language to English
   Medical Vocabulary Examination - Assesses knowledge of commonly encountered medical vocabulary
