Language and Interpreter Assessments

CyraCom can help you assess the skills of your staff interpreters, dual-role bilingual employees, or other bilingual professionals.

Why Choose CyraCom’s Assessment Services

If Your Staff Does Any Interpreting, You Need to Know They’re Qualified

As per the 2016 mandate from the Affordable Care Act’s Section 1557, hospital staff may not interpret unless they are “qualified” and have interpreting listed as part of their official job duties.

CyraCom’s assessments can help ensure your employees are qualified to interpret by vetting their language or interpreter skills. Additionally, our assessments will give you the documentation you need to comply with Joint Commission Standards.

Is your organization not in the healthcare industry?  If you’re a business, investing in assessments to verify your bilingual staff’s fluency and qualifications is still a good idea. It will ensure you’re providing high-quality customer service to all customers, even limited-English proficient clients.
